Demetria Williams, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a mother, educator, life architect, speaker and consultant.  After becoming a parent at the age of sixteen years old, Demetria realized early on, the importance of “defying the odds” despite harsh realities.  Statistically, Demetria should have been a high school drop-out, but instead defied the odds by graduating from high school in the top of her class.  She earned a full, academic scholarship to La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting.  Demetria later went on to assume various positions in the field of Accounting and Finance in corporate and not for profit organizations.

After the birth of her second child, Demetria realized a higher purpose in life and her focus began to change.  Still a business woman at heart, her desire to help people “balance their books” was now replaced with a desire to help people “balance their lives.”  Fueled with a strong desire to impart knowledge and motivate youth, this single mother enrolled in a graduate program for Education at Arcadia University in Pennsylvania.  It was there that Demetria completed a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Special Education, later educating youth of varying ages.

After the death of both parents and many obstacles, Demetria decided it was time for a change, relocating to another state and continuing her journey to transformation.  Demetria has received countless training on helping people achieve success in every area of their life: professional, personal, and spiritual.  Equipped with a strong faith in God, passion for helping people succeed, and over two decades combined experience in business and education, Demetria has the tools to help you live a more purposeful life.

Demetria is the Founder and President of Demetria Williams Enterprises, an education-based company which trains and empowers individuals to reach their highest potential, through coaching, speaking and consulting.  She is a state-certified teacher in the areas of Special Needs and Business and also holds a certificate in personal development coaching from the CAPP Institute (Coaching and Positive Psychology), founded by Valorie Burton – nationally known author, speaker and life strategist.   Demetria is a graduate of Peak Potential’s Guerilla Business School, founded by T. Harv Eker – author of New York Times bestseller “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.”  Demetria is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), National Educator’s Association (NEA), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), and Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hperactivity Disorders (CHADD).
